We met in January 2022 in Lagos, Nigeria, at a lounge called Live Lounge in Victoria Island. Tejiri was there with a few of his high school friends when he saw me walk in with a friend. He asked for my Snapchat, and, strangely enough, asked for a hug barely a minute after meeting me. It was so random I couldn’t help but laugh. Looool.

After that night, he kept texting and trying to see me, but I didn’t give him much attention at first.

Eventually, we ran into each other again at a mutual friend’s games night. That time, I actually noticed how good-looking he was and agreed to go out on a date. We went out, and well, the rest, as they say, is history.
